Likembe, Esanzo, Mbira, Kalimba, Sansi, .... the Sanza is a sacred instrument. In Kongo in Central Africa
it is called Sansi (Sa) means making and (NSi) means earth or the world. Thus, the Sansi or (to the world) is in the Bantu mythology, the source of creation.
Because in the beginning there MPUNGU Nzambi (God) was alone. Bored in his loneliness, he created the Sansi and began to play music. The melodies were so wonderful that every pinch slats creation was taking place: the earth, sky, water, vegetation, animals ... But, in the intoxication of those sublime melodies are Nzambi MPUNGU played a false note disturbed the melody and special creation took place: it was the (Muntu)  (The man, the human being).
